Just looking at powder options, VihtaVuori 3N37 looks to be a good general purpose powder for less that maximum charges in pistol calibers .32, .32-20, 10mm, 44, 45 lighter loads. Just looking to expand my universe since WW231 and Accurate #5 seem to have vanished from the planet.

and actually checking out the burn rate chart N330 looks to be a little closer to my taste....right between AA#5 and Green Dot(which are two of my favorite and most used powders)

Anyone using or have success with this powder or any of the VV powders?? They seem a bit pricey also??

Powder was specifically developed for 22LR applications. Excellent stuff, being clean burning. Speed approximates 4756 in the larger pistol cases. ... felix

I use it in 44's all the time. Wish I had more.

Back in the 90's we used 3N37 to make major power factor with the 9X21 and 158 gr plated boolits. Don't even want to think about the pressures we were running. You will find it a clean and useful powder for many applications.

I use it the 9mm get good velocity and accuracy with 115 and 125 J-words pushed a 115 FMJ Lapua
to 1350fps in a Kimber Target 11, not recommended as a steady diet, nice clean burning powder a bit pricey. Robert.

I don't know if anyone posted this elsewhere, but VihtaVuori has been sold.

I have and found it to be an adequate powder; mostly I used it for 150/155 jacketed bullets in 10mm which seemed to be the sweet spot with it in my guns. Overall though I prefer the Accurate and Alliant powders for 10mm. I just never found the increased cost of VV to be worth it.

VV was sold to who?

I believe it is still pending as who is/has bought them. This is why there has been a shortage of their powders along with the political fiasco. This information comes from people living in Finland so it's highly reliable. The thing they are fearing is if the new company will sell it commercially.

3n37 is my favorite hotdammit 9mm powder.
Out of the g34 am getting avg1375 fps with 124 gold dot and 7.4 grains (above max by.1) loaded to 1.142. It just beats the hell outta any factory loadings. Recoil is absolutely tolerable and plenty combat accurate. 2.9 inch best 5shot from rest @25 yards with heinie straight 8 sights.
Meters great although at top end I amweighing each charge.
I recomend a bonded (if not pb) bullet at this speed as the xtps and golden sabers loaded like this seemed to shed the jacket.

The only place I ever saw VihtaVuori powder, was a small selection at Cabelas. Now They are no more.
