Please inform me:

To you Army men. Is the Army birthday celebration an old thing? Or is it due to recent publications of US Marines birthday celebrations? My family is mostly Marine or Navy. My uncle was Army proud but he is gone.

My guess would be the Army's birthday has been a big deal for a long time among the Corps.
