if they can't create the environment where people would want to give up more liberties and ask the government to take them in exchange for their safety , then they can't gain their control.

the police state needs crime or it fails to be relevant if it fails to seem relevant , then it isn't needed


if crime went up with more guns , it would be at new all time record highs , but it is at multi year lows, manufacturers are shipping millions of guns every month people are buying guns in record number and yet crime , not so much.

Old piece, Stossle is gone from ABC and now at Fox. Not likely that ABC
would put that out today. Stossle was the only libertarian or any kind of non-leftist
at ABC as far as I could tell.

John Stossel is one of the only real journalists left at the national level.

Most Fox reporters have a right-leaning bent, but will at least be intellectually honest enough to give the opposing viewpoint.

Stossle actually lays out facts and/or supporting data. He's not always right-leaning either. Truly an honest reporter.
