Best mold for 30cal M1 Carbine

Getting an Inland (General Motors) M1 carbine for fathers day. What is the best mold that will cycle well through the 15 and 30 round mags and shoot well of corse?

Doing a short run of carbine now in my Dillon 550. I cast Lyman 311359BV, gas checked. Mold came from Midway. I like the design more than GI ball round nose as this cast boolit is more pointed, seams to fly better. I'm shooting these in 2 Winchester M1 carbines, and I notice they shoot groups about half the size GI ball does in the same guns. Still not much, about 3" @ 100 yards, but GI ball does 6". Mold is listed as a 115gr. but a dressed round, lubed with a gas check, weighs in around 122 gr. I load 12 gr. of 2400 and it goes through the chrony @1875 fps. I size .309 and lube, seat the gas check in a old lyman #45. No signs of leading yet in the barrel or gas system. Only down side to these is my steel targets get wholes punched through them with this boolit, where GI ball just left a splatter mark, carbine AP I guess.

The 311359, as mentioned, is excellent as is the RCBS and Lee 115 - 120 gr GC'd RB cast bullets

I use the 311359 from Lyman, shoots great with AA9.

The Lee C309-120-R works great for me in three M1 carbines.

I have used all molds mentioned above and they work great.
I recently bought the 4 cavity NOE 311 115 GC.
I like it better than any of the above.
I size .309, use NRA 50/50 lube, and a 50/50 Lino/COWW alloy.
Zero leading at 1900 FPS with WC820N.....dale

I have been using a Lee C309-113-F. Size to. 309, gas checked. Tight groups at 50 yds. Approx. Lyman#2 alloy with either H110 or N110 from an Underwood.

NOE 311115, just get it

I use a Lee cast bullet 311-100-2R, flat base in front of 12 to 14 "depending on how I load at any one time" of IMR 4227. Excellent accuracy, mild recoil, and NO LEADING.

This mould is made for 32/20, 32 S&W Long, & 32 Colt. I size them to 310.

I bought the Lee C309-120 R boolit for use in the 30 Carbine and it was worked well. However, I tried to run them through my dad's Blackhawk and had issues. The profile of the boolit has a slight shoulder which hangs up in the throats. I can seat them deeper but I was already dealing with a slightly compressed load with 4227.

My dad also has a SAECO 321 which is a PB RN boolit that weighs about 100 grains when cast from WW. I cast a few of these and powder coated them. I have yet to test them in the carbine but they pass the plunk test in the Blackhawk. The Lee mold is fine but I'm glad I get to try the PB SAECO mold with powder coated boolits. I'll provide a range report when I finally test them.

I have three NOE molds for my pistols and enjoy casting with them more than any of the other molds I have. How many cavities are you guys running in your NOE molds?
