I have a pair of Marlin's in 41 MAG .

I also have the current Lyman 41 caliber semi wadcutter gas check mould .

This is the one that the major gas check makers do not make a correct check for .

So should I see fit to call Larry Blackmon what check should I ask for ?

Thanks :drinks:

Saeco makes a number 415 mould which is a 220 grain truncated cone gas check design . Will the same Gator check that works on the Lyman bullet , work on this Saeco mould as well ?

I've never bothered to find out

In the past all I have loaded was jacketed stuff . And I would crimp in the cannalure . I have a few of the Lyman 41's with checks somewhat attached but I never bothered to load any as I didn't like the way the Hornady 416 check went on .:???:

With most of the levers I have gotten to the point that I just try them first where they crimp . If they cycle there great , if not I seat them a little deeper until they cycle correctly .
