These were my first boolits with my NOE mold. Everyone told me 'heat' and 'more heat.' As usually everyone who said that was right. I've had the mold awhile but waited till I got a hot plate to warm the mold. I placed a piece of 1/8" aluminium over the coil with the mold on top. It did an adequate job of heating the mold. I did get some wrinkles which may have been from some leftover oil in the mold. I was able to get about 10 decent boolits before I had one stick to a pin. I need to get my casting method more efficient so the pins don't cool so fast. I went to two different Walmarts, a Target then finally a Kmart before I found a hot plate, go figure.
