I picked this mould up at a gunshow years ago for possible use in the .375 H&H and I can't find any reference to it.
It is marked 379760AV and is a plain base round nose.
I have not cast any boolits with it yet so I don't have a weight, but it is quite long.
Any ideas?

#379670 - 335 gr. RN

I think you've "kicked" the numbers. Think that's one of the more recent Lymans that they made awhile back and discontinued. May be still made as I don't have a recent Lyman catalog.

Maybe someone will chime in here with more info but it should be a 335 grain RN for the .38/55 or .375 H & H family./beagle

Thanks beagle,
You are correct. I looked at the mould several times and still managed to swap the numbers.

I found a reference to it on F&Ms site, listed for the 38-55.
Lyman does not list it but has a similar bullet listed.

The current price of gas checks is causing me to look at cast boolits differently.
In the past, I wouldn't have bothered with a plain base, now I'm looking for them.

I think in recent months all of us have taken a look at the PB moulds in our stables what with the price of GCs. Never huts to plan ahead./beagle
