Would anyone have any bullets in 20-1 to 30-1 mix they would sell me a few of? Lyman #319247 or #321232. Saeco #632 or #732. Thank you. JerryW

Jerry, if you have the molds, and not the mix, here's a suggestion. You can cast the bullets from wheel weights, and air cool them. When freshly cast, they will have a hardness of pure lead, or very slightly more. Then, as they begin to harden, you can test the hardness each day, by shooting, or using a hardness tester. You will be able check a goodly range of various hardnesses this way. Your test period will probably top out at the one month limit, due to the hardening curve. If these hardnesses don't work, start oven tempering at around 250 degrees for an hour, and water quench immediately. Then, increase the temperature by 25 degrees per batch. You will find the point in here somewhere you can make wheel weights work, I'll bet you.

I dont have either of those moulds but I do have an origional winchester mould in 32 I would be happy to cast up some bullets for you from it is very close to the ideal . and I can cast them from 20-1 or 30-1 or 25-1 . if your intrest is here drop me an e-mail at zb70045@ctnis.com ............. Dean
