What are you all using AA#9 for? I had 8lbs given to me a while back and I haven't even opened the jug yet.

44 magnum, 357 magnum. According the loading manuals, H-110 will give you a little more snort, but AA#9 seems to burn cleaner. I always figured if I needed to load to the max, I'd buy a bigger gun and then load it down a little. Thanks for the info, I'm about out.

I use it in 7mmTCU and 357 mag. It's a go-to powder for 357 mag. However, I use AA#9's sister, WC820.

AA9 is superb in 10mm, especially with heavy bullets.
I use it in 45 colt+P loads (in 454 brass) too

Oops, my my sometimers is kickin in. I just checked this morning and it's AA #7 not #9.

Looks like it's good for 9mm and I just started loading 9mm so I'll give it a try at that.

I never heard it called sometimers, with me it's called oldtimers. I don't trust my memory to tell me when its time to eat. I'm pretty much hungry all the time.

I agree. Ive also run it with lighter bullets with great results. Only problem with aa9 is the charge weights are so high as compared with longshot.

Our local gun shop had AA7 in stock also. Not much else that I use though. Still, had to leave with a pound. It goes a long way 7-8 grains at a time.
