It looks like the old H&G 200 grain wadcutter. The bullseye shooter standard. However, be cautioned that they may not work in an XD.

When the action opens on the XD, the breech block drops low enough so the extracting case runs on the top cartridge in the magazine. Not a problem if the boolit has a rounded ogive. But you might get some pretty violent jams with a square shouldered boolit. Mine was bending case rims, and might have damaged the gun if I kept shooting them. On the upside XD's shoot any other kind of rounded or rounded flat nose boolit fine.

Looks like a cold mold H&G 68. Needs a bit of filling out...

thanks members, i'll give it a short whirl "got lead?" and see if it jams. If so, i'll keep shooting my lee 90352 mold in xds.

Gunoil:

I'm interested how these work in your XD. Please post how they work. I'm using the lee 200 grain rf in all my 45's now it not only feeds but shoots well too. Thanks

I'm with Phineas on this one: a Lyman design.

Got lead?, its monday and i just shot em, the best i have ever shot in tiny xds. Now youall are gettin in my wallet, i'd like to have a 4 hole of this boolit. Hit with 4.3 of win 231, i see why they call this one a wad-cutter.

They do not dive like lee #90352 mold (rn228), WC'ers stayed high and rite where i aimed. Ugly'er but i love em. Lucky'ly i have 13 hung of em.

I agree with the 452488 - dead ringer for that. Mike

NOT an H&G 68. Either H&G 130 or Lyman 452488, near clones that were common
match boolits back in the 50s and 60s. These are somewhat problematic feeders,
not reliable in my experience. If you want similar accy and far better functioning
reliability try H&G 68 or Lyman 452460, either one is much more likely to feed
and function, unless yours is an early XD, without the top round depressor bump
under the slide.

saeco 130 if I am remembering the number right.
I was holding a 3 cavity in my hands on Saturday.

As far as i have got, not a saeco 130 or H&G68. Its a lyman so far, L@@k @ the top rim right below the tip of the boolit. It (top lube ring) is rounded off.
