Shot my first ever cast 243 boolits today. Rifle used was a Ruger American, Boolit used was a 93 grain RCBS with liquid Xlox "double coated". Powder was Hodgdon H414 starting at 19.5 grains and ending at 22 with velocities in the 1600-1750 range per data. Was very impressed with the accuracy for my first casts at 75 yards. 708437084570846

Not bad. That should slow down a venison heart. The Lee powder measure has a little problem with real fine powders and real coarse powders doesn't it but still serves the purpose most of the time.

The group in the middle would have been Beautiful 3/4 inches if i didnt throw one up top. :-)

Casting at my buddies house. He uses just standard wheel weights occasionally adding a little tin to the mix. They are air cooled at medium hardness.
