It seems I departed DFW just in time yesterday. It was a bit bumpy when we left at 10:00 AM.

Granbury, Hood County and Millsap, Parker County. Deaths and missing are Hood Co. I am camped on the banks of Lake Texhoma on the Red River and we have severe thunderstorm and hail as I type this.
Be safe out there guys.

bear67, I may be thinking wrong, but isn't 1911 the one that turns int highway 6 once you cross I 45, also known as jackrabbit road. I'm thinking back a lot of years hear.

Nope 1960 is the one I was thinking about, where is 1911?

Crosses US 69 between Alto and Wells--north of Lufkin and south of Rusk. As a long time 1911 guy, I could not resist. Found a County Road 1911 sign in Fannin County Yesterday.

All the bad weather seems to have departed the area now. Just cloudy and occasional showers here north of the Metroplex. Nothing more than thunderstorms expected, but here in "Tornado Alley" you never know.
Please keep the folks in Granbury in your prayers!
