Joe, I'd kinda like to put a Red Dot scope on my Yugo SKS. I'm familiar with the receiver cover mount, didn't like it with a regular scope, don't know if a Red Dot scope will be any better. Does anyone make a scout mount for it? You guys start talking about M1 Carbines and I get all riled up to get one. Then to find that they're $500 and up (except for Universal, which I wouldn't pay 5 cents for...), that makes me remember there's two SKSs sitting in my safe that beat the carbine in every category except looks. You yourself told me your Yugo shoots one hole groups. So I'll stay with the SKS, not buy an overpriced M1 Carbine. Goddamn collectors!
