If you are a machinist, or a quick learner, one of the local gun companies are looking to hire 60 warm bodies here at the time. Lots of hiring in the firearms industry here, if you have a clean record, and can pee in a bottle.
That's about the only industry that is doing any good here.

The funny thing is that in Idaho you can talk firearms to even the police and they don't feel threatened.
At church we talk firearms no one looks at you strange.
Here most everyone has at least one firearm and I believe the average is 3 per house hold up here.
My lgs has been dealing with folks from Oregon, Washington the state, Montana, Wyoming, Utah for firearms and ammo since last December.
Yes we would be willing to take any firearm industry or related industry here and they would love the climate both political and weather related.
In Idaho firearms are tools that can be used for good or evil. Most of the time here it is for good as evil uses are just plain looked down on by almost everyone. Yes we have those bleeding liberal socialistic communists here just like any other state but they don't get to far as they are the minority for now and hopefully for a very long time to come.
If you like firearms, the Constitution, Bill of Rights Idaho is a good place to live and enjoy your past time.
Hope to get a chance to go Whistle Pig hunting again soon. Yep I have only been here 3 years an wished I had landed here a lot sooner but I needed to be in a few places where firearms are a nasty word so I knew a good state when I found it.
Nope has not been all good, "ex" divorced me 6 months after we got here and the battle lasted over a year. Still I have learned the people here are my kind of folks, the weather when the humidity is down is good for my arthritis and snow is just a passing thing where I am. Yes you can find snow if you like that just go farther north or east of where I am and most winters you get all you can stand.
I think I have found my final resting place also among a group of my fellow veterans and their resting place is well cared for all I care about is here in Idaho.
If you like to fish lots of places to go do it, if you like to hunt lots of places to do that, if you just like to throw lead, J-words at a target lots of places to do that also. IF you screw up and are jailed there are lots of places that do that also.
nough said come to Idaho if you meet the requirements
like firearms or at least are not anti firearms
Believe in GOD
Believer in the Constitution
Believer in the Bill of Rights
Believer in Freedom for all who are peaceable
If you are one of these then welcome to Idaho

If you feel that the Government owes you a living
If you feel that freedom is a dirty word
If you feel limiting firearms to populace
If you feel it is the Government we get all freedoms from
If you feel that it is firearms that are causing all the misuse of firearms
If you feel that the color of a firearm, how many rounds it can hold is a problem
then Idaho is not a good place for you to move too.
