Can anyone help i.d. this muzzle loading shot gun, i believe its a 20ga, no real identifying marks. thanks in advance HC

I'll be interested to see what others say. The castings look Spanish, but that is a real guess.

With that straight trigger and the engraving I would almost ay it's French but without a good set of proof marks it's just a guess.

That's a tough one! Any hint of rifling in the bore? Could it have once been a rifle then reamed or simply worn to smoothbore? The front trigger plate/guard almost shows a hint of fleur de lis which could be French. Then the top of the butt plate engraving shows a hint of a thistle motif- Scottish??

Looks like a parts gun. English buttplate, early french trigger guard, curly maple stock.
