I know a lot of you guys really like this boolet in your .45's!
However no one ever says it's actual meplat diameter and it's actual length in wheel weight. These are figures I would really like to have !

I don't mean a guess or estimation, just the actual measurments. I checked the LEE web site but this information was not there !

If someone could measure one of there WW boolets accurately I would appreciate it .

Changeling hope this helps. If this is the Lee 90359 mold then here are the dimensions I have. Weight un-checked 315gr./checked 323gr. with Lyman #2 which should be near WW's in comparison. BHN testing (pencil test) puts this alloy right about 15 when air cooled. This is homemade Lyman #2 so there may be some variance. But I bought 750lbs. of it and everything so far has been comparable. My home smelted WW's run about the same bhn or perhaps just a smidge under. (12/15 bhn.) I snatched up one of those things you use for checking drill bit sizes...little plastic thing with holes in it...brain not functioning right now. Need caffeine. The nose of the boolit just fits thru the 13/32 hole... flush...not poking thru. Used the calipers (yes...I know...round hole and all that..) and it measures .407 so I will assume that's the meplat or close enough. Length of boolit unchecked is .760/checked is .789 if my eyeballs are working. I would imagine there is a considerable possibility of variances from mold to mold, alloy to alloy and many other variables. Audie...the Oldfart..

Meplat is at .3685" on my sample bullet which is right at a WFN design.

Another fellow here with his info stating a .360 meplat:
