Yep we have about three fresh inches, buuuuttt it is still falling. We will have a taste of spring for a day or two, then winter for a day or two. It just seems to drag on this year, but at least it isn't cold.

Radios got that right. There's hardly any corn planted or even up around here. Last 2 days have been the best we've had in a couple of weeks. Farmers are in high gear right now.

Same thing here, snow, rain, hail, taint, and then sunshine. Drove home from work this evening in a blizzard like Waksupi's. Waited about 20 minutes then did chores in the sunshine, with a fresh coat of white. JW

Glencoe is "IN" the northern edge of a winter storm warning, just starting now, they say 6-9". I should have enough wood :)

Do eye spy a Chevy of roughly 1972 vintage hooked to your trailer JIG?
The rear window on the cab is not small enough to be a 73.

In La. the weatherman can't make up his mind whether it's going to rain or not. No matter, I'll take what comes. Me and the wife found out when we lived in S. W. Kansas that southern folks can't live on snow and ice. GW

Yep that's a 71 3/4T Camper Special that I bought from a friend of mine last summer. It's a fine truck.

Here is a couple of pics from a few months ago...yeah, the camera's date stamp reset (due to a battery change) on the second photo

Dang, but don't it look nice in winter camouflage!

Looks like a beauty.

I've had a bunch of pickups, but the ole 73 was my favorite of all of them.
Well, the 65 IH Scout pu was in the ballpark.

The 67-72 body style is one of my two favorite Chevy body styles. The other is the mid 90's through 99.

That truck looks to be in good shape. Much, or any rust??

10 years ago, my buddy bought it from a rancher in ND...no rust. He painted over the fairly good condition "original" orange/white paint with the eggshell white you see, then he drove in as a daily driver (in the MN winter salty roads) for the last ten years. Yeah, the rust is just starting to come through. the cab corners and box supports are the worst. I may fix her up again, or I may not ? I really wish he never changed the colors.

And in my neck of the (urban) jungle summer has started, been in the 90's when it should be 70's & 80's. So we are experiencing global warming and extended winters on the same continent at the same time! Oh my! The sky is falling!

Yup the sky is still falling this morning, one flake at a time. I am hoping that it runs out of them pesty flakes one of these days. lol

Well, Ole' Man Winter can make up his mind here either! The sky is not falling here, (north of Dallas) but yesterday it was 86 degrees, about 12 degrees above normal, and today it's 66 and tonight it's supposed to freeze again. May get snow around Amarillo again. Sure screwy weather this spring!
