I tried to post some 45acp reloading dies on craigslist. The first two times someone flagged them within a half hour and they were deleted. I posted a pic of the dies and titled it "hunting stuff". The third and last time I titled it hunting stuff and put a pic of a woodchuck flipping them off. This was flagged and deleted also, but made me feel much better.

As far as I know, reloading stuff its allowed. Some people just live flagging things gun related just because they don't agree with people owning funds. I wish they had to give a reason for flagging and also their contact email.

and sometimes it is someone selling something similar. We had that happen with a tractor over and over, until a local used tractor dealer's higher priced one sold.

I had an add for an apartment for rent that got flagged once. I read and re-read that add trying to figure out why it would have been flagged, nothing. I, too, figured that it was a competition thing. I reposted it with no changes and it stayed up after that.

It sucks because there is no explaination available to anybody to talk to about it after the fact.

Craigslist can be more frustrating than eBay. People can flag your post for anything and for nothing. For me, the most frustrating thing about Craigslist is the flakey people you encounter. Folks who post something for sale then never reply to your calls or emails. If the item had sold, they should pull the add. The other is when people you arrange to meet up with for an item you are selling and then they never show up or return your calls. Some people get real creative with their posts and some are quite humorous.

I have found a few really good deals on Craigslist and even bought a couple guns (one was an evil assault rifle). The guns were spotted before others had a chance to flag them. Another rifle was bought when the seller of reloading supplies let me know over the phone that he was also selling some firearms. I scored my Dillon 550 and tons of supplies on CL. Best deal I have found anywhere, ever. The owner was a competition pistol shooter who was getting out of reloading.

Speaking of Craigslist, anyone want to buy my Mopar 440 engine block, crank and harmonic balancer? lol

if you ever want to feel a troll's touch all you need to do is post a add on craigslist ( that says it all ) and if you care to feed the trolls just step into any craigslist rants and raves sections where raves are rare and trolls thrive ( and from what i've seen some are the same guy posting back and forth to themselfs as ten different people :P )

I want to see the woodchuck too! Will you email me a copy? I can think of several areas that it might come in handy.

Craigslist around here is insane! It is about as bad as Fleabay and Gunbroken! .45acp steel dies - $100
.556 brass $200/K, RCBS Jr. press - $150, 3 bricks of Federal std. velocity .22 lr - $425.
I have quit looking as it makes me sick.

NICE! Now the question is do you still have the .45 dies, what make and what would you want for them? Shoot me a PM if they are still available.

i have sold several dies and 2 lots of 1000 ct 556/223 brass. each item sold quickly and was not flagged. i usually add the text- these items are not forbidden to sell on CR and if you flag i will just relist.

I would not ever use Craigs' List. When I still lived in MI (to near Ann Arbor) it was a hotbed of really sick sex stuff. Now off of evilBay, too, due to Paypal. I'm only selling odds and ends, so I list on C.B. Swappin' and Sellin' first, if it doesn't go there I list on Gunbroker. No trolls there. Haven't tried Armslist yet.

Really!!! You find that stuff on the sporting section of CL? I have found some really good deals on CL. You just need to avoid the areas that don't suit you.

Have found many bargins on CL. Last month 4 brand new tires "Yes they were NEW" for my one car, all 4 for $50 bucks, now tell me that isn't a good deal.

Sick sex stuff? Well they were made of rubber!

Suits me to boycott them entirely. Just because they keep the porno in a back room doesn't mean they aren't peddling it.

Right on!!! That is certainly your freedom to do so.
