Does anyone know if weaver ever made a scope for sears.
The reason I ask is that I looked at an old 3 power scope at the gun show today that looked just like an old k3 weaver, but it was just marked sears and 3 power.

I have been kicking myself about not picking it up, because after it was too late to go back, I got to thinking it would look pretty good sitting on my old sears branded savage 340.

I believe they did, but dont take my memory as concrete fact.
I think Bushnell contracted some for them as well.

Sears never made anything - they had others make it, branded Sears. Could have easily been Weaver.

I have a Weaver K-3 i put on a early Ruger 44 carbine it works great. The scope has a heavy post retical but the combination will shoot 1 1/4" 100 yd groups!

I have a 3x marked "J. C. Higgins." No Weaver markings but it's a Weaver, for sure.
