Howdy gang,
I'm brand new to the sight and the info said I should jump in here and just hang on! Been casting about 3 or 4 years now and have a buddy been doing the same about 40 years. We get together on ideas from time to time, but we don't know everything. I cast for calibers 40, 41, 44, 45, 30,7.62 [.311], 45/70, 45 muzzleloader, 50 muzzleloader and just about anything else that comes to hand, while my buddy casts for 50/90 only. As you may guess, I like it a lot. Some problems come up on occasion..mostly undersized molds and how to overcome that, alloy mixture and what works best when, etc. I do not know where to post questions like this, so maybe you can help out. Thanks a bunch!

Welcome aboard! I'm a little new here myself, but have been casting for years. You'll find a wealth of information and enthusiasm from kindred souls all pushing that little lead pill towards the target. Just pick a subject heading and ask! You'll soon discover that this is a fascinating hobby that will let you shoot some really bizarre oldies (and modern guns) quite accurately and cheap to boot! Everyone's a gentleman and the exchange of info is freely given.:drinks:

Welcome aboard. As stated, just find a section that kind of fits your question and post, you will get responses. If the thread is in the wrong place it can be directed to a better topic.

You mentioned that you didn't know everything, none of us do either. If you do run into someone that says they do, you already know what to do.....

Welcome ! !
