Erik does good work. I've been visiting his site for quite a while. Is that a Lee mold that he hollowpointed?

Seconded! I bought a .401 and a .452 mold from him. Flawless boolits, great work, great service. Doesn't snub us northern neighbors even!

Erik does good work.
I had a magma mold done. Was expensive ($150) to get done but its not the same as what you had done.

Thats auto casting at about 550 boolits a hour.

I just tried out two molds that Erik modified for me with his insert bar's and they are awesome, can't believe how easy it is after using the "old" style hollowpoint molds. I will post some pic's later, had a two cavity 257420 for the 25-20 and a 358315, also a two cavity hollowpointed for use in my .357 handirifle. Can't wait to do some expansion testing with them.

Tried them out the other day and they performed quite well shot three different loads had a Unique, Red Dot and had some Win 571 left over from my shot gun reloading days so pushed some down the pipe with that all were between 900 and 1000 fps through the chrony out of my FEG Hipower clone this was a functional test and I am going to start accuracy testing in the next couple of weeks

And here a two recovered slugs from that mold, along with some unshot components. These were recovered in 3rd gallon jug of water, and expanded to .700. Shot at 1015fps. Erik also removed Lee's beveled base on mine, so dropped weight was reduced to 155gr.

I also was using the original Lee non-HP version of this mold, but not again. Erik's work has them casting faster, dropping easier and more consistent than the Factory version.

Alloy I mixed together using alloy calculator was supposed to be 2.26sn 2.25sb 95.5pb = 11.3 BHN, but ended up right around 10BHN.

40/60 solder = .7 lb (need to reduce as too $$)
soww = 3 lb
Pig lead (3.18sb 96.8pb) = 9 lb

Will increase hardness a little to save rarer materials and test some more.
