Want to know why the cost is going up?? Due to my "casting stuff" business, I get the odd ball emails.

I just got one from Japan inquiring about buying 500-600 metric tons of pure lead per MONTH. How many bullets would that make??

It was from a battery company.

A metric ton is 2200 pounds. You can do the math from there!

Well if my simple math is correct, and figureing that you get 500 metric tons of lead that doesn't need smelted, and cleaned(i.e. 100% of it is used), you would be able to make:

23,648,648.65-----74gr. wadcutter boolits that jdhenry is looking into

12,068,965.52-----145gr. boolits

9,722,222.2--------180gr. boolits

7,954,545.45-------220gr. boolits

4,302,987.65-------405gr. boolits

I think the shipping is what is going to kill you....oh yeah, and you might want to think about hiring some extra help:-D

Kind makes you think that there will be global battle for resources pretty soon. Them with the most bucks will win. [smilie=b:  !!!!!!!
