I am really trying to get my feet wet here, the question. I found buried in "THE ROOM" a box of really close to full 500 cast. I for the life of me cannot remember what they did, if memory is close they were stinkers in about everything tried. 165 gr., two lubes, crimp ring/groove .500" in front of a .309" bevel tail. Nose is .297" out to about a .180" meplat, overall .931". Just received a .285" Lee I am going to knock out to .301" and push tail first up. The question being is leaving rock hard blue in grooves and pushing proper lubed tail first up and out to my .301" target size for PPing sound like a waste with this one or worth the time?
