NOE 452 230gr Small Hollowpoint

Thinking of getting this mold for my 45 acp's. Figure with a 50/50 mix it should expand and hold together. Any pro's and or con's about this boolit?

I don't think anyone here has used this boolit in an acp except myself.
I haven't put it on paper yet, but it functions without a hitch in my 1911.

I just bought that mould too. Haven't had a chance to cast with it yet. I'd be very interested to See your results when either of you get to shoot this bullet.

I have the large HP one and it works just dandy in my 1911. :)

Cast with this mold today. Casts well. Took longer to heat up than I had expected, but then it was only 45 in my shop and 22 outside. Once everything was up to heat, produced some nice boolits using rotometals hardball alloy.

I've cast and shot around 300 of these so far. I really like the looks of them, and they feed and function well in the three 1911's I've tried them in.
I had a tough learning curve casting at first, bullets sticking on the pins, sticking in the mold, etc. Finally got the 'system' worked out, and it casts fine now.
