I do a really light coat before sizing. Very light.

I have never sized without lubing first or size and lube in one step. My understanding is that you should not size with out lubing as it will lead up the sizeing die.
Like Buck-N-Rut a very light coat is probably all that is needed. I shoot lots of 38 wad cutters with a very light coat of LLA and no sizing at all.

I always give mine a light coat of thin lube thinned with mineral spirits first then another coat after sizing. Easier on the die too.

I just recently decided to find out if sizing "DRY" would lead a die. I sized 300 bullets from .313 to .311 in a Lee push through. I can't tell the difference between bullet #1 and bullet #300. No size difference and the die looks no different. VERY hard alloy.

Not saying that the next one won't start causing problems, I just had to try and find out myself.

You can use about any lube you like for the sizing, save the Alox for boolit lube.

I normally lube every fifth boolit or so with my normal case sizing lube, depending on how much it's being sized and the hardness. My normal case sizing lube is boot waterproofing.

I use a spray on lube first, then size, and then lube 2x with 45-45-10 for that boolit. Seems to work well.

You got me thinking about my stash of 358105s so I had to pour about 150 of them to build my stock back up last night. Only stopped because my back got tired, but I need to do more of those. Joe
