I know posted to death several times.

I've read lots here about double and triple ball loads in 38/357 even in 410s. There's even proofed load data for the above. 45 Colts not to much , there's not hardly even full wad cutter data.

So after wieghing and comparing and tinkering and measuring every thing about as many ways as you can w/o actually assembling parts ,I leaped .

Remmy cases
CCI LP priming
5.0 Unique
4 000B
Darrs lube

Wait . What ? 3 ought is only 360 ,45 is at least 450 ,at'll rattle like a bb in box car.

During my recent move I found some aviation tools I'd nearly forgotten. A rivet squeezer is a pretty cool tool . It let me swell the dia from 360 as cast to 455 x170 and do it very consistantly over and over. W/o a wad cutter seater getting 4 of those lil'suckers in the case was fun but not too much. the 1st 1 would press in by hand smear a little Darrs around the bell and the disk/ball curve and press the 2nd,3rd,4th in w/a piece of flat stock and a smear of lube in between.

Stats,
No leading in the RBH w/its 454 throats and 451 bore.
Some unburnt powder.
640fps w/a hi of 658 and a low 600 for 10.
Shot for shot put 1 about at hold 2 about an inch apart and 1 off all by itself strung vertically about 8".

Just for fun really ,not that I'd care to be on the business end of a 68gr 600fps 45 cal boolit much less 4 . They did punch right through 7/16 masonite.

That looks like a heck of a close range defense load, actually. As you note, 68 grains at .451 (after barrel swaging) and 650+ ft/s would be no fun to receive, but should still penetrate well and you get the effect of that big flat nose -- plus multiple chances to miss things like belt buckles, steel jacket buttons, cell phones, and so forth, which a .32 with similar weight bullets wouldn't give you from a single trigger pull.

I think it might be a nicopress tool, not a rivet squeezer. They are used to crimp clamps on cables. They can be set for a fixed thickness of the squeeze.

Kind of a pricey hand tool . It was a God send for control surfaces and gap seals where you were putting in 40 plus rivets and trying to maintain straight edges. My tool set has round faces for 1/16,1/8,3/16,1/4,5/16 in and 1/16 and 1/8 dimpling heads for flush rivets.

The lube flier did occur to me , I wonder if just the top "groove" should be lubed,or the middle groove.

Great now I'm thinking again I could use the 1/8in dimpling tool for the top 1 , Cheerio HP.

just messin with you.
i'd bet it's the top one being bumped out of the way by the others.
I really wouldn't worry about one flying off a little bit, you have three close nuff to do the job.
