When you run short let me know. I've got a bunch and nothing that shoots 44 caliber.

Things are getting scary! I might have to pick all the ones off my range and use them again. Soon it will be cheaper to make them from gold. :(

That's primarily why I DON'T shoot GCs.

That's primarily why I DON'T shoot GCs.

I'm pretty new to casting and had a horrible experience with severe leading early in my reloading hobby 20 years ago with 44 mag, but after encouragement here on the group I bought a 429421 mold and cast up some boolits. This is a non GC keith design. A couple weeks ago I shot them and chono'd them at about 1340 fps. I cleaned the gun normally afterwards and don't really see any lead. This was with straight wheel weights air cooled and sized to both 430 and 431 in my redhawk. 430 seems to shoot a little straighter and groups were about 2 inches at 20 yards. I am hoping to tighten this by playing with the powder a bit. This is going to make my 44 mag shooting a lot cheaper. It's getting to where GCs cost almost half the cost of reloading. A third anyway. A big thanks to the guys here on the group!
