I have a 429251 round nose mold that drops big enough to size to .434. I am thinking of offering fat bullets from it on my webstore but will need a custom sizer die, but I don't have any of the guns that need big bullets and I don't really know what size people want on those. I would appreciate those that know if they would reply as to what size would likely be most popular so I know what size die to order such as 434, 433, 432? Please only reply if you have experience. Helping me guess will only clutter up the thread. Thanks.

I have 5 44mags, the larges throats go 0.431" so I can't see sizing much larger than 0.432", JMO.

I would recommend .430, .431 and .432 for starters.

some of the taurossi leverguns want 432
but 430 and 431 will be the most popular.

Older S&W 29s are usually on the generous side. I'm sizing to slightly over .432 for one of mine. If I was buying boolets I'd buy .432s for it.

I can push a .432 boolit thru the throats of my ruger flattop 44 special. And from what I have read so can alot of other people.

Well it sounds like .432 will be a good size. Thanks for the help!

+1 on the .432 for general use. Works well in both my OM Vaquero and S&W M24. Also, cast from my 'hard' alloy, works pretty well in my .44 Marlin levergun.
