Is anyone shooting this heavy-weight (for this round anyway)in the 32 H&R out of a Ruger Single Six?

Can't seem to find much data for this combo.

Have a NOE 314008 I would like to use for this (slightly heavier than the 311008)

Haven't slugged the bore or throats yet, but will ASAP, since a quick measure of the throats with verniers seems to be at about .310

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

I have the 314008 from Al also. My .32-20 loves 4.2gr Green Dot and a light crimp. It's a great adaption of a classic boolit.

Been using mine in a 32-20 S&W Hand Ejector Model with black powder - What a HOOOOT!

Turns heads at the range and everyone wants to know about the gun and wants to try it.

Of course I oblige, just to see the smile on their faces!

Looks like a mini 30-30

I'm shooting the Group Buy 314-120, 122 grains out of my alloy, from my .32 H&R Ruger SSM using LILGUN powder.

Yes, I'm shooting them in my SS .32 Mag. That and the 31133 are my "go to" for the .32 Mag.

My loads, my gun. Use at your own risk but I've had no problems with mine./beagle

Are you seeking low, mid or magnum level loads?

The NOE 314008 sized and lubed in a Lyman .312 fits my SSM very nicely and is accurate. My little Ruger's throats and grooves are .312. So far it's not fussy about powder.

Get a hold of an old ly manual previous to 46 and add 10% to the max loads for the 32 long with the 3118.

I use the 311008 in .32H&R in a Merrill for IHMSA Field Pistol. I used Unique and 231 at first, but I get better accuracy with IMR-4227. I started with 7 gr. and worked up until the groups shrank at around 9 gr. The usual disclaimers, blah, blah, blah.

Downwind,

When I received my Group Buy NOE 313008 4-banger and started casting with it, I was a little surprised (and disappointed) that it dropped bullets out at 125 grains. I'm using them in my 327 Fed Mag (custom K-frame S&W) with the longer brass and 8.1 grains of Accurate #7 to very good effect, and that bullet is looking better all the time. ;)

Go to the Accurate website and take a look at what they list for #s 5, 7 & 9 for the 32 H&R case and go with the mid-range loads, and I'm pretty sure you will be happy with the results. :Fire:

I've been using the 311008 & 31133 HP for a few years out of my 32 H&R Mag Ruger single six and my Marlin 1894 lever and have used several types of powder like Unique, AA#7, 2400, & some old Alcan #5 but my latest is with AA#7. I have taken a deer with both bullet types with great results

I am using the NOE 314008, unsized, out of my 32 H&R Mag Ruger Buckeye. The only load I have have tried so far is 2.5 grains of Green Dot, which has been so fun that I have not tried anything else yet.

I do have a question however. Where do you guys crimp on this bullet?

OK, Slugged the bore and throats both at .312

Had some .314 sized NOE 314008's that were lubed with black powder lube and tried them out as follows:

Starline brass
rem small pistol primer
3.2 grains of Win 231
1.395 OAL
Roll crimp die

Don't have a chronograph at this time to check out the specs, but it
seems to work out nicely
