Ive been a lurker for some time as Ive always shot jacketed bullets through my milsurp rifles.

Im tempted to try cast bullets as I'ld like to get a mild recoiling cartridge for my kids to shoot... me too.

Im wondering if you all could recommend a cast bullet vender? I shoot plated bullets through my handguns but this would be the first through my rifles.

Thanks,
ptf18

Meister bullets, and Ranier copper plated bullets. Speer and Hornady make them as well. Your issue will be trying to find them. All things guns and shooting related are out of stock. SOme folks are no longer accepting back orders as they have no idea when they will have product. I cast and therefore am able to shoot. Good luck sir.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Bull Shop makes some boolits... Buy Local if you can, I.e. from this forum. You'll get a much better product.

I have purchased some cast from Meistercast. Shipping was pretty fast and they performed pretty well. Shipping will probably vary based on whether they have what you're looking for in stock.

we have a number of commercial casters on this sight.
Carolina cast bullets, and bullshop is probably the two to deal with for rifle bullets.
remember that rifle casting is custom casting and is time consuming.

My first choice would be the Vendors from this site. Next would be MBC, Missouri Bullet Co. I use their 32/20 boolet in my 30ish cal milsurps. Great for 308 plinking with TrailBoss. My friends and I grouped our wants into a large order and got in before this hoarding fiasco. Now I search for and buy 32 cal pistol molds to cast my own. Lots of fun, and a single cavity mold ain't all that bad. Just makes ONE perfect boolit at a time.

Hard to find in stock boolits. I've had good luck with hunters supply. They sent me the wrong stuff once, I sent an email and the next day they called me to get it right. If vendors here are out you might try them

Fellows: WHere do I find a list of Vendors that support castboolits?

On the homepage, go to the bottom where there is a section entitled 'vendor sponsor' its not all the way at the bottom. Work your way down the page and see all the different subsections. Good stuff there

It is right above the swaping and selling section.
