The "shoulder bolt" (bolts on which the pour handle slides up & down) on my Pro 4 20 LB pot keep working loose - top one much more so than bottom one but both do it.
What is the best way to deal with this??
Would a washer and lock washer help?

I disassembled my pot and tightened the aluminum grooves that hold em.

Not at 500+ degrees, lock tight is heat released

What about a thread locker like this;

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Permatex-Inc-27200-10Ml-Red-Threadlocker-High-Temp-High-Strength/21280944

I'm not sure this would help as it is only rated to 450F and I'm not sure how hot that part of the pot gets. Anyone know of something rated for a higher temp??

I will probably have to fabricate some type of bolt and sleeve so I can use nuts to hold it in place.

Any ideas as to a design/materials?

I use the stuff made for exhaust manifolds on my 67 and 68 Mustang
