Ive been semi looking for a buscadero type rig (holster and belt) for a Ruger Blackhawk in .45LC.
What or who do you guys recommend? What is a good price to pay? Is there anything I should stay away from? Thanks for the input.

I assume you mean a Buscadero holster and belt because there really isn't any such thing as a Buscadero holster. If the holster is all you need than it would just be a drop holster, and I have made plenty of those. You can see some of them at www.whyteleatherworks.com

AZ- Jim...I've got one I might be willing to sell if it'd fit you and work with your gun. I had it custom made by Mike Witt of Billings, Montana. If I remember it was $110 new. It's a plain (no carving) western holster and buscadero drop loop belt with 12 cartridge loops. Believe the waist size is for about a 34 inch waist. Of course that's somewhat adjustable with several holes punched in the belt. It was made for a 5 1/2 inch Super Blackhawk which is on the Blackhawk frame. It's very well made and comfortable. Witt does great work. BTW, those cartridge loops will also take .45 Colt.
