OK, my very 1st pour of 45 cal 230 gr. rn boolits was a excellent success, I am going to resize them thru a Lee resizer to .452. Re coat with lube and reload. My question is: What is the correct over all length of the completed reloaded round?

Your loading manual will tell you. You do have some manuals don't you?

With the wide variety of mould designs for 230 gr. RN boolits, the best way to determine the best OAL for your gun is to make up a dummy round. Start by seating the boolit long and fit test it in the removed barrel. Seat progressively deeper until it passes the "plunk" test, then apply a taper crimp and feed the dummy round from the magazine.

Don't get hung up on OAL. Look at what the book says, try a dummy round in the mag and then check barrel fit. Chances are the mag will be your shortest part. In other words there is no magical OAL.

see post number three.
I go a bit further and make three.
I plunk test them and drop the slide and eject them.
then load them in the magazine and feed them all by hand.
they might chamber okay but hang up when you try to extract them, that points to that one in a hundred that will cause you grief.
I fix that if I see it.
then go head and make up my load.
