After a bad divorce and razen kids I just didn't have the time. Now the kids are gone and I'm getting back in reloading. these are the first batch off my new RC press. I use to cast to but for now i'm useing 158gr. swc Missouri bullets, They work great. These .38spl. are loaded with 6.2gr. of HS-6 and spp. I'll try to shoot them as soon as the weather allows. raining all day. Good to be back at It.

Welcome to the forum. I used to get my bullets from Missouri Bullets and then I found this site. If ya stick around very long, you will be casting yourself! I used to think that having a thousand bullets around was good. Now I have an unknown amount cast and when I get time, I will cast up a bunch more. It is a very fun hobby. You can have many styles of boolits around. There are some mold makers on this forum and you will be able to cast boolits that no one else in your area has.

It is true, hang out here long enough and you'll be pouring your own boolits and then................it's officially all over, life's never the same!!! :holysheep:cbpour: It's better!!!

Very true. I am consumed with it. And I only get to do it about 2 or 3 times a month. Can't wait for my Ranch Dog molds to come in.

Glad you were able to come full circle. I can only imagine how good it must feel after so long away.

Even after a 20 absence, you have not lost your touch for reloading good ammo. Those Boolits are the match, if not better, then any factory round lead boolit.

Welcome aboard and welcome back (wish I had something more profound to say). Can't beat a good old fashioned .38. And those are some fine looking loads. Good crimp and pretty to boot! Do please give a range report.

I took a 30 year break and just started back reloading a couple of months ago , then back to casting about a month ago. Great to be back in the fold .

Lucky for me I never get rid of anything so still had two progressive presses, a single stage one, dies some powder and primers along with ammo I loaded 79-82 ,lots of 45ACP ,38 Spec. brass and a little assort ones also along with my RCBS Pro Melt and molds.

My reentry into reloading all started due to fact I could not find ammon for my new SA XD Subcompact, my new CC piece. Still feesl starnge not having a .45ACP on the hip.
