Hey friends. I am reloading 158gr rn for some neighbors and what I have read suggests a crimp. I just wanted to see if any of you have a good picture of a crimp with this boolit. I just want to make sure I am within limits as to not crimp to tight.

Of the end of the case is very slightly turned inward it is good. No more than a very small inward turn is needed.
The crimp shouldnt be holding the bullet in place, case tension does that.

the tension does most of the work indeed the crimp is there to stop movement through mechanical means.
if you can run your finger down the boolit over the case mouth and not feel it you have a crimp.
if you are slamming them down the barrel with a powder that needs high case retention to help ignition/burn consistency then put more on.
