I wish I had a young nominee for you. What you are doing is fantastic. Let me know if your possibles bag is a bit light, I can contribute as well.

If the winner is close to central Texas, I can contribute a few caps and some powder (hate to pay HAZMAT, but can arrange a hand-off).

I assume we email you at castboolits@gmail.com

Do you think this is something a larger 10 year old girl can handle to shoot?
She is my niece and she loves to shoot the 22RF, but I do not think she has ever shot anything else at all.

Hey, Baryngyl. We did a little "back and forth" on the Christmas thread, as you may recall? If your candidate wins this, please post as such and I would be pleased to donate some .50 cal jxtd with sabots...... Good luck!

yes, thats the correct email, I am not even close to making a decision yet and will continue to welcome nominations for a week.
so far, it looks to be a difficult decision.
This is not a large heavy rifle, but I don't have any idea what a ten year old girl can handle since I have never been one :P

got it, just not going to reply to any of the messages. i will just post here when it is gone, and handle everything in private later. The point of this to me is not as a contest of who might be most deserving, but the best place for it to land overall.

The owner of the new rifle has been decided, tough choices! Anyone that offered to send extra kit pm me for the address please.
I do wish I had a dozen to give out, but just this one for now.

I'd like to congratulate the lad/lass that will be enjoying this!

Maybe we could get a picture or a small write-up from them?

Ken, I sent some funds via paypal to help cover some of the shipping costs... I didn't have anything else that could go with the possibles kit.

Many thanks for the offer, but paypal will just steal that money, best to get it back!

They sent me a notice, but I just fought them for 3+ months to get money I had in that account they would not me withdraw or spend.
Do go get the funds back, the help was appreciated in the grace it was offered though.
