I have seen where people have used the Lyman #358156 in .35 Remington, but I could use a bit of help as I was thinking of making a plinking load with it. It has 2 crimp grooves and the Remington M81 has enough free bore to crimp in the lower groove and the GC sits right at the bottom of the neck, and even lower if I don't crimp. I don't know if the one little lube groove will provide enough lube. If I seat deeper to use the lower crimp groove for lube the GC ends up below the neck. I was thinking of just tumble lubing the whole boolit and calling it good. I have been using a dip lube on it for .38/.357 use.

+1.

Crimp in the lower groove if the throat allows it. I suggest, for a "plinking load", you start at 4 gr Bullseye and work up to around 6 gr. No wad or filler needed. Or, start with 6 gr Unique and work up to 8 gr.

+1 to what Larry said, if it fits crimped in the lower groove load it that way. Are you putting a gas check on them? With a gas check and a good lube like Javalina (50/50) or BAC there is no reason to "baby" the 358156 if you want to make it go fast too. I used to shoot them with very good accuracy at around 1500 fps in a .357 Herrett Contender and 2000 fps in a Marlin 336 35 Remington.

I am going to use the gas check. The bore is a bit worn and I was going to start with a load like Larry suggests to see how it likes lead before pushing it harder. I was a bit surprised that it fed so smoothly by hand cycling a dummy cartridge.
