I am nervous typing.
Went to my local sport shop today for some primers.
Was doing my usual look around when I got a stomach cramp.
Working my way to the mens room and my wife calls out-- Hey Wolf is this what you want??

So I come back in and do some more looking and was ready to leave.
Looked at the wife and said: So what was it you wanted to show me.

She hands me a 4 cavity mold in excellent condition with handles.
I look at the mold and it Say's

Geo. A. Hensley # 68452200
Is this what I think it is.
I kiss the wife ,paid 40 bucks for the mold, got my primers and came home.
Did I do good?? [smilie=1:

It's worth $50 easy - I'll send you a Money Order on Monday[smilie=1:

My WAG on the actual value would be 3 to 4 times what you paid, especially if it's in really good shape.

Kiss your wife and say "Thank you!". Ya done good!

PS -- the fact that that mould is stamped "Geo. Hensley" means that it dates back to the 1930s. That is a classy mould!

Something that is older than me wow. I never new they were that much in demand.
Don't get me wrong I know they are very good molds. I was shocked at how it cast. With the temp correct on the mold and the metal it just cast like crazy.
Most of what I did yesterday was pure Pb.
There is one screw missing, the one that is the set screw for the one that the sprue plate closes against. I put a small Allen head screw in there temporarily.
Mr. Hensley I am very impressed.

Wow....You got a good deal on the mould and on the Wife. When I go to get reloading supplies or to the gun shop, mine is usually somewhere else buying shoes! lol
