CA has far more toxic things to worry about than lead.............................. Like its POLITICIANS.............

It's a vicious circle in CA. They feel they have to regulate everything. The extra regulation cost the people extra money to comply with and CA has to hire extra regulators to assure compliance meaning they need extra money from the taxpayers to pay for them. The people get hit from both sides, plus losing some freedom........ BUT...... they are so consumed with having fun they don't pay attention to what is happening.

It just goes on and on making "feel-good" rules that have the force of law. Just found out that the FDA is pushing a new rule that pecans can't be harvested from land that has livestock on it at any time during the year as the pecans will be contaminated. Really?? GW

University of Michigan gets credit for the study that banned wheel weights. 1/3 of the State bans lead bullets now. Notice that the spokesperson for the HSUS said not good science just the right thing to do. Hunting and fishing are things of the past in California since we sold the Dept of Fish and Game to the HSUS and changed the name to Fish and Wildlife. Even in areas where hunting with lead is baned we can still target shoot with lead.

Just like the new energy requirements for new buildings. Now buildings will be so tight you will have to provide ventilation by mechanical means. So you save energy by not having your heat leak out but spend money ventilating the home.... Sounds like a wash to me except for the added cost requires to end up with the same end result......................

i live in the area of CA where lead is banned right now... it isn't so bad, you just can't use lead when hunting... but target shooting, the range, etc. and lead is fine...

No Swamp Man most of the California residents live in big cities, vote for Democrats and support their program. They don't own guns and see no reason why I should be allowed to have a gun.
