Having recently gotten back into casting after a 30 plus year break I decided to add a 124 TC 6 cav. to my mix. Back when I purchased my other Lee 6 cav. molds there were no ones with FN or TL for 9MM and not much selection for even 45ACP. I have cast and shot thousands of .38 SWC 135gr. cast in a Lynan 2cav. mold and they work great however a six. cav. makes a 2 cav. seem like such a waste of time.

So back to point,I ordered said Lee 124TL which was in my wishlist. Next day had email conformation of order in progress and when I went to wishlist to check on availibility of other items found notice that the mold was no longer in stock but could be back ordered. This morning I received email that my mold has shipped, guess I got the last one.

never had any luck with TL designs in 9mm. they are my favorite design for 45 acp.

I was browsing Midway last night and found Federal small pistol primers in stock. I ordered my 5000 limit and did a dance.

You lucked out on those primers. I was on the Notify When list and got email at 9:16 AMtoday and they were already gone.
Second batch I have missed in last 3 days.

I bought the same mold about a year ago and this past weekend was my first time using it. It worked perfectly and threw some nice boolits. All of them were either .3565 or .357. I tumble lubed them the same night and today I just ran them through the .356 sizer and will try to load them up this weekend. I also bought a few molds from Midway this weekend. The lyman 325gr gas checked 45 cal bullet for 45 colt and a Lee 450gr 457 for 45-70.

Anybody been on a mold list from them for awhile? I'm still gunshy after my 2 Bator 10 month backorder from a few years ago.

Midway is constantly getting things in stock and selling out of them. I bought the "last" 356-125-TC 6 cavity mold back in January because Graf's was out of stock. The Monday after I received it, Midway was out of stock and Graf's had them in stock.

Midway charges a lot for shipping so I prefer Graf's, but Midway is very good at keeping you up to date on shipping and they are fast (4 day delivery). Even during the "good times" you might place an order with Graf's and you hear nothing from them for 2 weeks and the package shows up on your door. Maybe that's why they charge so little for S/H.

My Lee 6cav. 356-124-TC tumble lube varity arived today, cleaned it up cast little over 500 keeper ,lubed up 150 with White Label Lubes Delux Xlox (45-45-10) sized them then relubed. Made up a dummy (set up round) and it looks good. I hate the cold so next time it warms up above 50F I will load up 20 or so walk down in the wood to my range and give them a trail flight.
