I melted down about 400 lbs of ww the other day just for the heck of it I take my 3lb coffee can that I put my dross in and put it on the turkey fryer to my amazement I got about 8 lb of lead out of it now my question is does this have a hi content of tin in it or is it ww material :castmine: 44Woody

Woody, I did the same thing with pretty much the same results. When added to WW at a rate of 5% or so, it appears to improve castability and fill out somewhat. While this is far from being scientific proof, I ASS-U-ME it has a substantial ammount of tin.
