If it was for being a good boy neither of us would have one.

A grey bullet is 1000 posts. A gold bullet is 5000 posts. Get to 5000 and the 4 grey plus 999 posts become one gold bullet.

I think of it as a sign that we need to get a life. Wait, that is what my wife says.

hey,, i resemble that remark.
they stop you at two each.
and the little gold ones are really tumble lubed, you have to get the really big one for a gold plated one.
things are tough all over.

I think it may epresent the number of major events in the household we missed because we were online......

Run, are you saying you won't get another gold boolit in 77 more posts?
And who has the highest post count anyway?

Here is the list of who has the most posts.

http://castboolits.gunloads.com/memberlist.php?order=desc&sort=posts&pp=30 (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/memberlist.php?order=desc&sort=posts&pp=30)

R5R needs to pick up his game if he wants to catch up to the leader.

His average of 7.84 posts a day is more than Brett's at 6.62 so he should eventually catch up.

The top 10 list? The only 10 members with a zip code sized post count.
Only 37 Golden Boolits awarded thus far.
The nearest contender for the 38 Special slot hasn't been here since last September.
12,120 registered lurkers (took the time to register as members and have zero posts).

Shall I go on with mindless stats? I'm only doing this to avoid processing any more .223 brass or boolits. My brain and my fingertips are numb. Why didn't somebody warn me that taking up casting for .223 would involve snapping itsy-bitsy hunks of copper on to the bases of teensy-weensy hunks of lead?

wait till you can't see them very well..
i get such good fill out on mine i end up tapping the g/c on the base.
which translates into hitting my fingers with a tack hammer for about three hours at a time.

wait till you can't see them very well..

Already there. This 3 year old eyeglass prescription is long overdue for change.
I wasted a pile of time this weekend trying to turn a tool that would help with these, and got close. Still ended up just pressing them in place and pushing them against the edge of the bench 'til they snapped in. PITA. I'm used to the bigger ones that just seat in the sizer die just fine. Can't seem to keep the micro-boolits lined up well enough for that. Maybe another mod to the die... :)

Then when you get to be my age you can say "I remember when I could see G Cs and them little boolits".:bigsmyl2:

noe sells a little champhering tool for gas check bases.
everybody said " what is that for"?
i use the outside champhering tool for the rcbs powered green thingy.
the ones i have to cut goes into a separate pile.
i guarantee my next order to noe will include one of those tools.

i think blisters would be less painfull.

I've got another question . . . On the front of the forum where it lists all the members online what is the purpose of the + sign after some of the names? As an example I just cut & paste this name <Bob Krack+>. Just something I've noticed every once in a while.

Oneokie straightened me out on this awhile back. A name with a + beside it is on your 'friends' list.
