Too funny!

With this now public, it looks like I will need an "arsenal license" for the collection in my driveway and garden plot. Rototilling the front yard bed yielded several more of these self-loading examples.

It looks like the eBay Secret Police have struck; the item is no longer available.

Spoil sports!

John.

Dear Buck,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to our new firearms policy.

While many everyday items can be used to cause harm to an individual,
most items we permit for sale on eBay are not designed with the intent
to cause harm or are not likely to be used to cause harm. In general, if
items are legal to buy and sell in an unrestricted manner, we allow them
to be sold on eBay. Many firearm-related parts that can legally be
bought or sold have historically been allowed on eBay.

However, after the tragedy at Virginia Tech, eBay's Trust and Safety
team along with executives at the company felt it was important to
re-examine our existing Firearms policy and evaluate if it still met the
needs of our marketplace and our company.

While no items related to the incident were purchased illegally on our
site, it was important to make some changes to ensure we do everything
possible to provide a safe marketplace. After careful consideration, we
decided to restrict listing any part that is required for the firing of
a gun.

eBay welcomes comments from members of our Community about our products
and services. We have a long-standing company policy, however, that
doesn't permit us to accept or consider any ideas, suggestions,
proposals, or materials other than those eBay has specifically
requested. This policy is intended to help eBay avoid misunderstandings
if new products, services, or features developed internally by eBay
employees are similar or even identical to a member's idea.

***Important***
Any comments or materials you have submitted or may submit to us,
including questions, technical or creative suggestions or ideas, are
considered to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. For more
information about this policy, go to:

Thank you for using eBay for your online trading needs.

Sincerely,
Kaya

I am very upset at Ebays new firearms acc policy. I am a Member in good
standing.

Message: I am very upset at Ebays new firearms acc policy.Yes VA Tech
was a awfull tragity. And I understand That You want to keep the Ebayers
safe.
BUT have you concidered that many Ebayers are law abiding people and use
a firearms for self defence, hunting, police work, and much more.
If someone buys a car on Ebay , gets drunk and kills 100 people , Would
Ebay stop selling cars? NO That would be dumb. Just like your new
firearms policy!!
In a sence you have made the VA tragity worse by making thousands of
Ebayers victoms of a bad policy as well.
