does any one use graphite in iron molds as a prep to keep bullets from sticking?

Have done. There's not much difference between Iron and aluminum in how coating a mold works out. Fact is it always wears off, and when the mold surface gets "worn in" (no wear involved probably), then the mold probably works fine without it. This goes for my Lee aluminum molds too. One thought, there is such a thing as coating a mold too thickly, and it will affect boolit dimensions. Plus it builds up in the corners.

That's the idea! Build up in the corners so the boolits jump out of the mold. I prefer rounded corners in those areas of the design which can cause a hangup. I see absolutely zero advantage of any design having excessively sharp angles. ... felix
