so ive got a new lee pot. maybe 10 hours of use is all. ive heard of them dripping alot but all mine does now is drips every 15 seconds when im trying to get it to pour correctly. does this mean i need to clean the pot and if so how wuld you go about that?

Sometimes the cure is a bit of extra weight on the end of the handle.
On mine, the cause was using it for smelting and not getting all the dirt out. Getting it as hot as it would go and a stiff brush finally cleaned the pot up enough for good seating again.

boarder,

Welcome to the site.

When mine starts dripping or the flow starts getting low I will stuff a short stiff small wire up it to push out the **** that's interfereing with life as I like it. Do watch out as this will instantly cause a fast out-pouring of the lead.

That sounds like trash blocking the spout. Clean with a small wire when pot is hot.
