I noticed that every time I visit Photobucket lately I get re-directed to 35.glam.com when managing my account.

This (.35.glam.com) place is EXTREMELY malicious! Please see the link below, what they say is true.

I don't know how they got on/in Photobucket or if they are in any way affiliated but they sure are a pain to put it VERY politely!

I recently had my Firefox browser highjacked by an insidious and unknown virus, insidious because it can go unnoticed by the causal user. Everything appeared normal and my first indications of a problem were odd results for any searches done, almost any subject I searched would bring up links to porn sites and scam investment sites (mostly for scam investments in foreign currencies) and these would be interspersed with legitimate links to the intended subject. Even the "legitimate" links would sometimes take me to an obvious malicious site but not always, it was just hit-and-miss I suppose to keep the highjack somewhat unnoticed. None of my malware programs helped, Spybot (my most reliable), AVG, and Malwarebytes all showed no problems found but I obviously DID have a serious problem. The fix turned out to be quite simple actually and may work for similar problems when the Malware anti-virus programs fail, I went to control panel and uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled it using a previously downloaded version I have on my back-up hardware. I then updated it and after that PROBLEM SOLVED! :)

There is alot of redirecting malware out there right now. Most is harmless except being annoying. Some are alot easier to remove than others. My recommendation to you is to turn up Access control as high as it goes and never click on anything that pops up unless you read it first. I only get called on the worst stuff. Whatever they cant seem to remove. So far Microsoft and Trend Micro Housecall have been the best at finding things. Honestly though I have to hack stuff out myself because I only get to see the worst of it. The last redirector I had was in Java. I uninstalled Java (all versions) and it was gone. Didnt reinstall it until I tried to goto the chat on this site.

Boot up in safe mode, and run full scan Malwarebytes. It should dig out the nasties. If you try running it in regular mode, it can still connect to the net, and you can't kill the virus.

My google browser has been high jacked using options in the top right corner it lets me view and remove running applications. It took me a time to figure out but worked well.

Thank you for the tips.
Thankfully this doesn't redirect to porn just a bunch of junk that has nothing to do with what I want to do.
Rather annoying at times!
