I just watched this guys show on Outdoor channel called "The Spirit of the Wild". I just like this guy no BS tells it like it is!! He was hunting an Oryx, after he shot it with his bow he said "A lot of this meat will be donated to Hunters for the Hungry; but I'm keeping the Back-straps!! I'm generous but I ain't stupid!!". Just thought WOW he did really just say that, and I know it's the truth!!

My favorite line was when he had just nailed some doe or something and he said, "wow, what a beautiful animal... Of course now it's dead"

Lol!

If you have never seen him in a live show, you really do need to go, one time.

Stage lined with guitars and AR 15's Don't take the kids, he cusses like a sailor, on shore leave

Went to see him in the 70s in an outdoor concert. He is an out of this world guitar player. Had a little too much fun on that outing!

I used to listen to his morning radio show when I lived in Detroit. He is entertaining for sure, presidential material - probably not.

Could you imagine if he really did get elected? Can you say "foot to a$$" for a lot of people? I could just see the first PR meeting with the North Koreans. Uncle Ted would wind up slapping someone and we would be at war. And that would be the first five minutes of him being there.
Full autos would be on the shelves at Wal Mart. Suppressors would be required for public ranges.
I sure would like to see it, though!

I am from Illinois and am unfamiliar with the words PUBLIC RANGE could someone please tell me what the difference between that and an ELECTRIC range is?:kidding:

I like Ted, I really like how he is not AFRAID to say what is on his mind, and doesn't care if he offends somebody. That is something we are missing in today's world!

HaHaHa!

He'd play at his own inauguration and lead it off by dedicating "Stranglehold" to all the commie libs in Congress. The South Lawn would have tree stands everywhere and deer and elk standing targets all over the place. The First Dogs would be Gonzo and Thunder (his two Labs) and we'd have a First Lady we could all be proud of.

The White House Press Corps would be made up of members from NRA-TV, Life of Duty TV, the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman's Channel and VH1-Classics. All presidential limos would be Hummers painted in camo patterns and the Secret Service would carry their guns in plain view. The USSS close-range snipers would probably carry crossbows.

Guys I hate to burst your bubble, but old uncle Ted was a draft dodger during the Viet-Nam war time. Just look up where in a interview he admitted to what he did to get a 4-F rating to avoid being drafted. Also not very far from my home he was cited and convicted of violating big game laws, while deer hunting very recently. Some people here refer to him as a "poacher".
I think I would prefer someone better then Uncle Ted for President.

...And after he fired 75% of the non-essential gubermunt employees and cancelled all federal charity (I'm sure he'd spearhead efforts for local private-sector aid organizations to help the poor and disabled) we could pay off the debt in the first two years of his term, then drop taxes across the board by about 80%. In four years most responsible Americans would be out of personal debt, the irresponsible ones and those who are deeply socialist would have starved to death or moved to Canada (sorry, Neighbor), and we could go back to single-income families who had time to give their children the attention and care they really need to succeed in life and help rebuild this country. It could happen, but it won't because it would un-employ too many fat, lazy, gov-teat suckers and too many welfare babies would die.

Those of you old enough to remember the 1950s, remember the things that were different then?

All true, I like Uncle Ted. Have for years (read decades, I bought "Tooth, Fang, and Claw" when it first issued and still have it.)
He is not however Presidential material. That said, I'd vote for him over any Libbocrat.

Yep, know all about it.

Lots of draft-dodgers back then but you can't name me one who has done more for our military troops, wounded veterans and those who left military service with lots of problems than Ted Nugent. What's more, in doing so, Nugent KNEW that his draft record would get dredged up and hashed over time and time again, but he still did--and does--the right thing by supporting our veterans.

I don't particularly care for his "music" and do not like his incessant fowl language in his "Michigan Madman" persona, but I have been around the man away from the cameras and hype and he is a totally different person.

It's fun to fantasize about someone like Ted Nugent being POTUS, but the reality is it would never happen and probably just as well.

We should be so lucky.

I am also OLD enough to remember "GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH.":drinks:

This is so TRUE!! It just goes to show you how persuasive the Liberal Media can be!! And how gullible main stream America is!!

I like to think about someone like Ted for Prez but I think a couple things would happen WW-III or he would be DEAD inside a year!! I guarantee he WOULD shake up the establishment though!! LOL!!

Other dirt on Ted is that he picked his first wife from one of his tours. At the time she was 16. Today that would put him in the Big House but in the 1970's it was overlooked.

IIRC back in those days 16 was legal marriage age in several southern states.

John Kerry served in Vietnam, shopped and bought three purple hearts and turned into a traitor against his country and fellow servicemen when he returned. A man should be measured by what he has become not what he was during a short period of his life with the exception of a few crimes which one should pay for all of their life. I don't think we would like Ted Nugent muzzled by politics and trying to get re-elected. He's doing great right where he is.
