Jim and "Mrs Jim" stopped by in Christchurch yesterday and I was fortunate enough to be able to duck into town and have a coffee and a walk around with them. We had a good look at some of the earthquake damage and rebuilding and a real nice catch up. I had never met Jim in person before so it was a real treat. He is trying to retire from the mould making business but he is a victim of his own success as the orders keeps rolling in. For those that have not experienced the joy that is an AU made brass mould, you are missing out.
He's a very naughty boy however. As we parted company he slipped me a bag with a new single cavity mould for my Husqvarna .30-30 single shot. It's a 162gr FN and I can't wait to try it.
