Anyone ever use them for parts?
Am looking to restore (rebuild) an old Remmington 514 and they seem to be the only place to have the parts I want.
Pro or Con , would like to know before ordering parts.

I bought some parts for an M1 from them a few years ago. Nothing special about their service, but they had what I wanted and no problems dealing with them.

Popperts is good, in fact almost anyone is good if they have parts for the really old ones. I used to deal with an old gentleman in Chalmette, La. whose dad was a 'smith before him. Wasn't a case of do you have the part, he would ask how many do you want? He bought the farm in Katrina, the water destroyed literally a warehouse full of parts and took out a man whose knowledge was exceptional due to the lifetime of experience. Sleep well Frank, there's a place in Heaven for cranky old gunsmiths. GW

Beekeeper may I suggest Jack First in Rapid City, S. Dakota. A long time ago when I lived in CA they where located in Lancaster. In, I believe 1993-4 they moved out of Lancaster and have many parts for old guns; especially 22's.

Jack First's company not only has parts, they make them. Very interesting business.
