I have seen tularemia many times around the deserts of the west. It is natures way of reducing the overpopulation of rabbits which can always, always out reproduce their predators. It is easy to spot from a distance in the open country when the rabbits and hares act out of character at odd times of days. I just stay clear and put the rabbits I see out of their misery since it is a tough way to die. The cycle is somewhere around 7-10 years.

I have only killed one rabbit with, I think, tularemia. It was a California Black-Tailed jackrabbit. I knew there was something wrong with it when I noticed the horribly botched liver. It got buried fast.

"The sum total of intelligence in the world is a constant, the population is increasing."

The population of the world is still increasing because of a constant lack of intelligence.

Population growth = The world's biggest Ponzi scheme.
